   Staying connected just got easier! With our union growing more and more, it is becoming more difficult for us to keep our members informed with news and updates quickly and efficiently.
Which is why we have come up with a way to reach all of our members in Alaska through your smartphone! 

  * We will text our members updates on everything related to our union and our members, such as contract information and updates, general membership meetings with locations and times, and much more! 
  * We keep your information private and secured and do not intend to use your information for anything else other than to inform you on union matters
  * We ask for your name, number, and work location so that we can group you with your work location and send you information that is specific to you. Also, if you text us back with a question, we know who we are talking to and can help you with any questions you have.

   HERES HOW TO JOIN!
 
> On your desktop or smartphone, simply click on one of the QR codes with your work location.
> You will be taken to our opt in site. 
> Select your work location then fill out the information asked in the fields.
(If you do not see your work location, you may be in the wrong opt-in site, double check you are in the correct place.)
> After entering your info, check the little box under your phone number to confirm you would like to receive texts from us then click "sign me up!"
> You will receive a text from us confirming that you have join.
And you're done! It's that easy!!
You can opt-out as easily as you opt-in by simply reply with the word "STOP" in the chat.
